Vía Célere sells nearly 600 homes in the first half of the year

  • Madrid was the region in which most homes were sold, with 281, followed by Málaga, with 143, Seville, with 64, Valladolid with 59, A Coruña with 28 and Barcelona with 21.

Vía Célere, specialising in the development, investment and management of real estate assets, delivered 596 homes in the first half of the year. Despite the coronavirus, the company has increased its home deliveries by around 150% on the same period last year, in which it ran up a total of 1,241 housing units, meeting the targets set at the beginning of the financial year.

Thus, over the last 12 months, from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020, the company has delivered 1600 housing units, the highest figure attained by any housing developer in Spain in the last decade, which makes Vía Célere the sector leader in Spain.

Furthermore, the company has remained highly diversified as to the locations of its deliveries, making them in six different provinces. Madrid was the region in which most new deliveries were made, reaching 281. Vía Célere’s second most propitious market was Andalusia, where it delivered 143 homes in Málaga and 64 in Seville, followed by Valladolid, with 59 homes, A Coruña with 28 and Barcelona with 21. Furthermore, Vía Célere has developments currently in the marketing phase in eight Autonomous Communities and 12 provinces in Spain, as well as in Lisbon and Porto.

Despite the market’s difficulties, our results in the first half of 2020 were very positive, as reflected by nearly 600 home deliveries, far exceeding the figure reached for the same period in 2019. This figure further consolidates our leadership in the residential sector in Spain, while we continue to meet the objectives set in our ambitious strategic plan”, José Ignacio Morales Plaza, Vía Célere’s CEO assured us.

Via Célere currently has 4,092 homes being built and a portfolio of 5,672 housing units on sale. Furthermore, the developer has a property portfolio of 23,100 homes spread over 12 Spanish provinces, as well as Porto and Lisbon.
