Tim Mooney joins the Board of Directors of Vía Célere

Madrid, 23 September 2021.- Vía Célere, a real estate company specialising in the development, investment and management of residential assets, announces the appointment of Tim Mooney to its Board of Directors. Tim is the Global Head of Real Estate at Värde Partners and replaces Héctor Serrat, who is leaving Värde Partners in November.

Tim is a graduate of Georgetown University, holds a JD in Law from the University of Chicago and is a certified financial analyst (CFA). He has also previously worked as an attorney at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York, where he was a member of the financial restructuring group.

Tim has been closely involved with Vía Célere since the beginning of Värde’s investment in the company, and has deep experience in the Spanish real estate market. He joined Värde Partners in 2007 and is currently a partner and member of the Investment Committee.

Vía Célere is one of the leading developers in the sector in Spain, having delivered 2,256 homes in the last twelve months and 920 units in the first half of the year, maintaining the positive trend obtained at the end of 2020 and reinforcing the company’s leadership in the Spanish development sector. It currently has a net financial debt of EUR 209 million and has  reduced its LTV (loan to value) ratio to 12.9%.
