Vía Célere expands its activity to Portugal
Vía Célere, promoter specializing in the development, investment and management of real estate assets, has announced the launch of its first promotion in Portugal, an operation that reinforces its growth strategy.
Specifically, starting in 2018 the company will develop 46,500 square meters of residential and commercial land in the town of Oeiras, 11 kilometres from the centre of Lisbon. The promotion will contribute up to 276 homes to the Portuguese residential offer.
“It is the right time to move forward with the development of new projects in Portugal. Because of its sustained economic growth and the growing confidence and purchasing power of its consumers, in an environment of greater access to financing and low interest rates, the Portuguese market is an opportunity for real estate investment“, says Juan Antonio Gómez-Pintado, president of Vía Célere.
“Thanks to our innovative construction methods, we will bring competitiveness to a market with a scarce supply of new residential products and an avid demand, “he adds.
The project will be articulated in four phases. The first will begin in the second quarter of 2018 with the development of a residential area of 15,800 buildable square meters on which up to 120 multi-family dwellings will be built.
The land on which the project will be developed comes from the portfolio absorbed by Vía Célere after its recent merger with the promoter Dospuntos.
Expansion to the Portuguese market reinforces the growth strategy of Vía Célere and highlights the company’s ability to identify new opportunities and expand its portfolio of projects.
