Vía Célere Innovation Room: Industrialization in Building

When we talk about Industrialization in building we refer to performing some constructive processes in parallel to the activities carried out on site. For example: making the façades in the factory while earthworks are carried out at the site.

By making these activities non-sequential and overlapping them, the process is radically changed: the product cycle and business risk are reduced. That is why it is fundamental to consider industrialization as an alternative to the traditional way of building.

Among the reasons why industrialization has not yet been implemented, the cultural reasons stand out, since it is associated with prefabricated developments of yesteryear; the shortage of materials and technological reasons since previously there was no software for process management of this complexity.

However, there are many advantages to this process: greater safety, sustainability, housing quality and a more attractive design with better finishes, also improving the execution times.

In addition, as industrialization becomes successful, at VC, we always say that it is fundamental to think in advance about how to integrate the industrialized elements in the dynamics of the work and not, as is usually the case, to fit them in hurriedly generating a chaotic and inefficient process.

Via Célere has ten R&D certificates for industrialized bathrooms and modular façades, issued by an ENAC accredited certifier, and all these certificates acknowledge the commitment to implement and develop new techniques.

But this is not the only point in which we were pioneers. At Vía Célere innovation is in our DNA, discover this and all the other innovations carried out over the years at celereinnova.es
