Vía Célere reinforces its financial strength by refinancing a syndicated loan and entering into the Alternative Fixed Income Market (MARF).
- The developer has also been the first company to join the Alternative Fixed Income Market (MARF) after Covid-19 with the launch of a promissory note program for a maximum amount of 100 million euros.
Via Célere has reached an agreement to modify its 193 million euro syndicated load, extending its due date until the end of 2021. In this way, it complies with the debt reduction process that it had been undertaking in recent months.
The novation has been carried out ahead of schedule – the loan ended on January 4 2021, demonstrating the enormous confidence of the financial sector in the developer and has been signed with the same entities that originally granted the loan.
On the other hand Vía Célere has also been the first company to join the Alternative Fixed Income Market(MARF) after Covid-19 with the launch of a promissory note program for a maximum amount of 100 million euros. These promissory notes, valid for one year, will have a minimum amount of 100,000 euros and their issuance terms will be between three days and two years.
Thus, the company continues to consolidate its financial strength and diversify its sources of financing, since this new program adds to its excellent relationships with banks and to the debt reduction process that the developer had already undertaken after acquiring the assets of AELCA.
In 2019, Vía Célere managed to double its income compared to 2018, reaching 363 million euros, and obtaining a profit of 22 million euros. The company is currently, and prominently, the first unlisted company in the sector with a portfolio of assets worth 26,000 million euros.
