Borja Fernández, financial general director of Vía Célere

The real estate company Vía Célere, specialized in the development, investment and management of residential assets, has appointed Borja Fernández Espejel as Chief Financial Officer.

Fernandez Espejel, who began his professional career at ACS, was director of Finance and Strategy of Metrovacesa from 2013 until February 2017 and, previously, held management positions at Caser, N + 1 (currently Alantra) and Ahorro Corporación,  company sources informed today.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Fernández Espejel has been recognized in the last two years as one of the 100 best CFOs in Spain (financial directors) by Actualidad Económica and KPMG.

The president of the company, Juan Antonio Gómez-Pintado, has considered that Fernández Espejel joining the company is “key” to facing the upcoming challenges and consolidating its presence in the sector.

Vía Célere, which has 200 employees, has already delivered more than 1,200 homes since it was founded in 2007.
